Forged of heavy-duty stainless steel, this portafilter weighs in at a whopping 28oz ounces. It features an ergonomic grip and most importantly, commercial spouts. These spouts are longer than those that come standard with the Silvia and are better suited for brewing into espresso shot glasses. Because this portafilter has the longer spouts, there will be less splashing during each brewing cycle resulting in less heat loss from spout to cup.
