La Pavoni Europiccola pre-millennium 1976 Vintage Lever Espresso machine refurbished and Upgraded
Up for sale is my 1976 La Pavoni Europiccola Manual Lever Espresso Machine.
This machine has been fully refurbished with all new gaskets and seals and upgraded with a Teflon heat brake on the group head. It has also been fully descaled, has a new power button and has been fully tested. It includes a portafilter holder, 14g filter basket, and plastic drip tray (with metal cover). There is some paint missing underneath the drip tray, but it does not affect the function of the device at all, and it is due in part to it originally not including the plastic drip tray and only the metal screen. This is a very nice, fully functional vintage lever machine that will last for many many more years before needing a service again. (service is a $30 gasket set and some basic hand tools)
This unit includes the dual power boiler for operation. Level 2 is used for initial heating, and steaming, and Level 1 is used to maintain pressure while idle.
NOTE: THIS MACHINE WILL SLOWLY DRIP FROM THE SAFETY VALVE WHILE POWERED ON. THIS IS NORMAL AND WHY IT MUST ONLY BE POWERED ON WHILE SUPERVISED.
This machine has been fully tested the day of the listing and is fully functional, but due to the nature of the item, improper startup procedures (ALWAYS CHECK THE SIGHT GLASS WATER LEVEL BEFORE POWERING ON) by the new owner can cause damage, and therefore I must sell it as is with no returns.
This will be partially disassembled for shipping to prevent damage. Reassembly only requires basic hand tools, and some Teflon plumbers tape. If you are not comfortable with reassembly, it can be shipped whole, but you will assume all responsibility for any damage incurred during shipping. I will always do my best to package it safely and securely regardless.
